Roy Scott, PresidentRoy is a senior in Computer Science and has been a member for 3.5 years. In Summer 2008 & 2009, he interned at Potomac Fusion, a company that develops data fusion services for the demanding needs of the Department of Defense and other US government agencies. He is still working at Potomac Fusion as a software engineer and is also working for Microsoft as the Technical Student Partner here at UT. |
Nick Luchsinger, Vice President of AcademicsNick is a senior in Computer Science, and this is his fourth year in ACM. In the past he's served as ACM's VP Internal and President. He's currently President of Turing Scholars Student Association (TSSA), more by accident than intent. He interned at Cisco a long while ago. Here's a link to his personal site. | | Emily Russell, Vice President of Social EventsEmily is a sophomore and majoring in both mathematics and computer science. This is her second year to provide for pastry addictions (Notice: cakes will be fewer this year, so take advantage of them. Also if she is seen not doing homework, feel free to remind her.) She's also and officer for math club and TSSA and enjoys checking too many books out of the library. | Michael Shay, Vice President of Corporate Affairs Michael (who goes by Shay) is obviously too busy to provide information at the moment. Just know this: he is doing his job! | Nolan Hedstrom, Vice President of Finances
Roy lives with him, and he is probably one of the coolest guys. Nolan is a sophomore in Computer Science and in his second year in ACM. To be continued... |
Jonathan Lee, Vice President of Internal Affairs
He is ninja. He is a chemical engineer. He is invisible...sometimes! He enjoys line breaks as well as elitism. Beware of criticism and greatness while in conversation. | Jackie Tsay, Vice President of Human Resources
Jackie is a sophomore in Computer Science, and this is her second year in ACM. She is very hard to miss, as she stands a massive 7 feet tall, making her the tallest Asian woman to ever roam this earth. She is a starting forward for the UT basketball team, which means that she is often absent from ACM events in the Spring. You should get her autograph, she's going places. | Phillip/Peter Verheyden, Systems Admin
Peter is our elusive 8th Senior Officer. He is very rarely seen around the office, but if you do happen to spot him, never make direct eye contact. No one really knows exactly how old he is, but it is rumored that he has terrible night terrors from his 4 years in a Vietnamese prison camp. Approach with great caution. NOTICE: ACM cannot be held liable for any discomfort or injury you might encounter in conversing with Peter. Do so at your own risk. |
