Hi, ACMers. I'm Brad, and I'm running for VP Finance.

I am ACM's current sysadmin, so I've been going to the SO meetings and being generally responsible. Any job deferred to me will most likely get done quickly because I have too much free time and am always in the basement.

As VP Finance, I will do fiscal things such as
    Write reimbursements
    Rock the cash box
Not defraud ACM for more than $2000
Go to the bank on a regular basis

In short, I'm short, so vote for me.

Hello all! My name is Gabriel De Luna and I am throwing my top hat in the race for the office of VP Human Resources.

Though I joined CS and ACM halfway through this year, I've attended every general meeting and many of the events thereafter. I wish to serve as VP Human Resources for the reason that I love helping people out. Though outside the scope of this position, I've helped fellow students in their CS classes (313k, 305j) and tutored them when they needed help. I did this not because I expected some sort of reward but rather being able to help where I can is something I always do.

Simply: I'm easy to talk to (really). I love to help people.

I will also be sober the entire time.

Well wishes for everyone.

Hello! My name is Emily Russell and I am running for VP Corporate.

I believe that I have enough experience as an officer as well as the communication skills necessary to be an effective VP Corporate. I have been your Social officer this past year and I believe that having more than one returning SO would be beneficial and make the SO team more competent. I have helped with Company Nights and I am well acquainted with some of the problems that VP Corporates have run into in the past and I know how to avoid them.

I have in the past discussed the possibility of sponsored events with companies and they seemed enthusiastic. I am skilled at talking to people and planning things and I am more than capable of making sure payments get made on time. I plan on having information sessions about different types of career opportunities through computer science and what sorts of resources are available to students; I feel that this will be invaluable for new (or older) students.

I have been an officer in many organizations on campus and I have had a lot of practice with leadership and people skills. Right now I am an officer in ACM and Math Club (webmaster) and there won’t be a huge draw of my time away from my duties. I have an excellent phone voice and a strong handshake.

I will also ply you with baked goods.

Greetings! I'm Michael Shay and I'm running for VP Corporate.

If you don't know, I was the VP Corporate for last year. You can see my platform for last year here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=282. The only thing I didn't accomplish this year was getting corporate sponsorship for events. Now that I've established relationships with several companies, it should be easier this year for me.

So vote for me!
